DESCRIPTION

The 32nd release on Dopamine Music sees the debut of Ri Za to the label. The Slovakian producer has been enjoying the best year of his career with appearances on Traum, Stellar Fountain and System Recordings. Ri Za’s unique take on progressive house has made him one of Slovakia’s top production talents where he grew up with inspiration from Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha and John Digweed. His debut EP for Dopamine Music is entitled ‚Glowing Blue‘ and it comes with three brand new original productions. The title cut ‚Glowing Blue‘ leads the EP off with a dynamic club friendly vibe. Meaty kicks and mesmerizing rhythms build tension to eventually reveal a gargantuan bass line. As the room rocking foundation generates momentum a series of funky lead tones carry the track into a stripped down section and eventually the main break. Here an acidic underbelly along with a great complement of electronic intricacies provides tension and ultimately summons the return of the groove for what is sure to be a great dance floor moment. The second selection ‚La Negociacion‘ is next and it presents an even funkier groove. As one of the more diverse pieces from Ri Za’a rapidly expanding discography it showcases the Slovakian producer at his cutting edge best. Strong drums and a quirky complement of electronic hooks balance the brooding foundation nicely. The addition of some unique vocal elements adds a wonderfully moody vibe which carries through a tripped out break and forward to a powerful finish. The EPs third and final offering ‚Now and Here‘ begins with a full groove and chopped up vocal loop which proves to be quite hypnotic. The well carved foundation adds wicked swing and works in perfect unison with the catchy vocal elements. A second act of bouncy rhythms and tantalizing keys leads to the short but stylized break. The serene interlude brings your guard down just a touch and sets up a huge finale which closes out what is one of Ri Za’s career best releases on a strong note. Don’t miss it.
